oa-logoOn February 7 and 9, 2012, the National Order of the Arrow Promotions Team will host informational NOAC webinars. The webinars will provide an overview of NOAC, including some of the brand-new plans for 2012, review the contingent and staff registration process, which has had a few changes since the last NOAC, and discuss the promotional materials available to lodges and Arrowmen. The webinars are broken down by region, however if you are unavailable for your region’s webinar, feel free to join another region's webinar. continued

Meet the NOAC 2012 Planning Committee Leadership

chiefsFrom December 27-30, 2011, section chiefs, members of the national Order of the Arrow committee and key volunteers gathered in Dallas, Texas, for the 2011 National Order of the Arrow Planning Meeting to begin planning for NOAC 2012. Section chiefs gathered on the first evening for the national chief and vice chief elections. John Rehm was elected the 2012 national chief and Preston Marquis was elected the 2012 national vice chief. Both John and Preston will oversee the planning for NOAC 2012. continued

 

Conference Life at NOAC 2012

When the 2012 National Order of the Arrow Conference (NOAC) begins on July 30th, 8,000 Arrowmen will descend on Michigan State University (MSU). Beginning at the national planning meeting and continuing over the next months, the Spartan Hospitality Group at MSU will work with the NOAC planning committee to ensure the needs of all guests will be met. Ever heard of Arthur Eldred? In August of 1912, almost exactly one hundred years before our upcoming NOAC, he earned the very first Eagle badge. He was so ahead of the curve that he didn’t receive the actual badge until a month later, because the medals hadn’t even been produced yet. continued

About NOAC 2012

Welcome to the 2012 National Order of the Arrow Conference website. Here you will find everything you need to know about NOAC 2012, how to go, what exciting opportunities await you and the plans for the 2012 National Order of the Arrow Conference.

More than 8,000 Arrowmen will travel to East Lansing, Michigan, home to the 2012 National Order of the Arrow Conference at Michigan State University. Arrowmen will participate in a 6 day conference focusing on top notch training sessions, cool recreational opportunities, attending evening shows full of theatrics and special effects, and checking out the exciting programs NOAC has to offer.

NOAC will be held from July 30 through August 4th, 2012. Begin planning your trip to this exciting national event. Arrowmen will travel to NOAC with a contingent from their lodge or as a staff member supporting the thousands of Arrowmen attending the conference. To get to NOAC and reserve your spot in your lodge contingent, talk with your lodge chief, lodge adviser or lodge staff adviser today. This fall, your lodge will begin recruiting Arrowmen to attend NOAC 2012. Remember, Next Stop: NOAC 2012!
